This is quite a few weeks overdue, but my latest food and wine pairing article was published last month over on VineSleuth Uncorked.
This article was inspired by a common dilemma in my household. During the warm summer evenings I typically crave something light, but hubby wants a heartier meal… usually involving grilled meat with something starchy (are you surprised?). I don’t want to cook two different meals. The solution? Skirt Steak Two Ways. He gets a sandwich, I get a salad, and the ingredients are practically the same. We both win! And yes you can drink the same wine with either dish.
