As you may have noticed this blog has received a bit of a makeover. For the last two years I have been blogging at vindulge.typepad.com but I realized it was finally time for a change. A fresh start so to speak. Since the day I started this blog my life has changed in many ways (career changes, a cross country move, giving birth to twins, among many others), so I felt it was time to reflect that more on this blog. I have realized wine is still a huge part of my life and career, but there are many other areas that I strive to keep in balance (career, family, health, and life). I hope to reflect more of those areas on the blog, hence a section for lifestyle, travel, and other topics. But don’t worry; the main focus will still be WINE!
Why the name change?
Well, this one is a bit of a technical decision. The old blog was hosted by typepad.com, thus having “typepad” as a part of the address. The site vindulge.com belongs to my wine education and consulting business (if you haven’t been there before I invite you to check it out). This site, vindulgeblog is not only an extension of my company, but also a space for all things wine, food, travel, and lifestyle.
The new look and design are still a work in progress (much like my own life!) and I will continue to add and remove content, change and tweak things until I am happy with what I see. If you have ideas, please let me know. I feel this site is more interactive and I welcome the feedback. A blog should be a conversation, not just my point of view.
I hope you like the new look and stay updated by subscribing, either by email or RSS feed.
If you are here for the first time I invite you to peruse old posts, either by looking at the various categories, by searching the archives, or by simply using the “search” function.
Cheers and thanks for reading,
