  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons coarse black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons ancho chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons dry mustard
  • 1/2 tablespoon granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder


  • In a large bowl combine all ingredients. Stir to incorporate. Using a funnel or a spoon, store the dry rub for ribs in a mason jar in a cool dark cupboard.
  • Apply liberally to your favorite pork cuts.
