Mary Cressler, Author of the critically acclaimed cookbook Fire + Wine and creator of Vindulge, one of the top BBQ and Grilling websites in the country.
She is also a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, and President of the Portland, OR chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier, and co-founder of Ember & Vine Wood-Fired Catering in Portland, Oregon.
As a food and wine writer, Mary’s work has been featured in a number publications including, Wine Enthusiast Magazine, Barbecue America Magazine, Serious Eats, Bottlenotes, The Daily Meal, The Gorge Guide, Palate Press Online Wine Magazine, Snooth, Oregon Wine Press, and so many more. She is also a frequent tasting panelist and judge for numerous wine competitions and a regular featured guest on KATU Portland morning show AM Northwest (an ABC affiliate).
Mary is the executive editor at Vindulge and focuses on live fire recipes, cocktails, wine travel, and wine content. She is a member of the Big Green Egg Team Green and travels around the world speaking and cooking at conferences sharing her passion for wine and live fire cooking.
