Cocktail Week continues today with…
GIN
I love the signature juniper berry flavor of gin. I love gin martinis. I love a refreshing gin and tonic. What’s not to love about gin?!
And this bottle of gin makes me wonder why I don’t drink it more often.
Produced in Scotland, Hendrick’s Gin is infused with the traditional gin botanicals like juniper berries. But their signature flavor comes from an additional infusion of cucumber and rose, which add a smooth and unique flavor.
It’s pretty darn tasty!
I’ve enjoyed this bad boy with traditional gin martinis, a number of gin Greyhounds, and simple gin and tonics topped with cucumber slices (reeefreshing).
But my favorite, and the one I alluded to earlier this week with the blueberry simple syrup, is this refreshing little blueberry lemonade made with the Hendrick’s Gin.
I especially love the color that the blueberry simple syrup gets when mixed with gin and a touch of club soda. It’s gorgeous. And the drink isn’t overly sweet or tart like many lemonade drinks can be.
If there was anything more summery than yesterday’s Lemon Rhubarb Fizz, it’s this Adults Only Blueberry Lemonade.

Notes
*This bottle of Hendrick’s was provided as a sample, but my opinions and all the delicious and creative cocktail creations were all my own.
